All That I am
I willingly submit myself to the Dance.
Into the fires of Destruction
I am dancing.
Purified I emerge
Created from the Fires
And I shall Dance again.
Created I am, anew.
I willingly submit myself to the Dance.
Into the fires of Destruction
I am dancing.
Purified I emerge
Created from the Fires
And I shall Dance again.
Created I am, anew.
I love this!

I totally agree with the poem. The story of the phoenix makes so much sense to me. That’s how my life has been. Time and again.
I like this poem on more than one level, very much including the use of the dance imagery. That’s a really nice touch!
Thank you for sharing!

I am humbled by your praise. If I may add another dimension to this, I wrote this as if I would, has, will become Natarajia to dance the Samhara (Shiva entering the Cosmic dance at the cycle of destruction and evolution).

😀 I am glad it has. The imagery of Dance was not my own, just borrowed and I needed to honour that.
